Order of Events for BIXXESCHUBBSE WinterFun
The BIXXESCHUBBSE WinterFun is just a little bit different from a “normal competition”.
A team consists of three people who will push the can using the cross bar at the back. There'll be no pulling this time! After 10 metres the pushing stops and the can is left to travel independently on skis. The winner of the competition is the team whose can manages to slide the furthest.
Each team has one trial push before the start of the competition and may then launch the can twice. Both attempts will then be added together to get the total distance.
Team members may change sides whilst they are pushing but all hands must be removed from the cross bar by the 10 meter mark, otherwise the attempt will be invalid.
The event begins with a warming round of hot cider and at 12:30 the starting positions will be drawn. The competition starts at 13:30 and will last around 2 hours. After that there will be more partying and all the remaining hot cider will be polished off.
